The hotel has a convenient location near the pier and restaurants, and rooms are big and well-equipped, with comfortable beds, hot showers, and functional amenities such as Wi-Fi. Some rooms are also more quiet than others and offer more privacy and space, depending on your preference. Staff is polite and helpful, and breakfast is decent and varied.
Some guests have reported issues with cleanliness, including superficial housekeeping and insufficient toiletries or drinking water. there might not be a receptionist available at all times, which can be inconvenient for some guests who need assistance or have complaints.

Our room at Hostal Muyuyo was amazing! It had a private entrance, which made us feel like we had our own little retreat. The tile/marble floor added a touch of elegance, and the air conditioning kept us cool and comfortable throughout our stay. And let's not forget the flat-screen TV with cable channels - perfect for winding down after a day of exploring the Galapagos Islands.
Honestly, there's not much to complain about, but if I had to pick one thing, it would be that the room could have had more natural light. But hey, that's just my personal preference - others might actually enjoy the cozy ambiance it creates.

The lack of proper curtains, which allowed sunlight to wake us up very early each morning.

The value for money at this hotel was fantastic. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean. The location was unbeatable, with everything just a few minutes' walk away. The staff, especially the friendly young guy at reception, made me feel at home.
The breakfast menu could have had more options.

Chilled filtered water and knowledgeable staff were the best aspects of my stay. Their location was also perfect as it was close to the night market and taxis, which saved me money. they offered to store my luggage while I went on island visits.
My stay was less than enjoyable due to several negatives. there was no hot water until 6:30am, which was inconvenient for my early morning schedule.
